“Unyielding” CD Release Party – Friday, April 3!!

On Friday, April 3, Ben marks the release of his newest album, Unyielding, at the Metropolis in downtown Brattleboro, VT, with his group, the Ben Carr Music Project.

The band features: Ben on vocals, ‘ukulele, and percussion; Jason Koerber on saxophones and flute; Josh Maiocco on guitar and vocals; Joel Eisenkramer on guitar and vocals; Pat Stevens on bass; and Pete Biolsi on drums.

Unyielding is Ben’s fourth studio album and contains ten original compositions rooted in world beat and rock with layerings of folk, jazz, and classical. The songs are melodically playful, dynamically adventurous, and at times full of raw energy while still containing moments of expressive simplicity. Lyrically the songs raise awareness on the human relationship to technology and the propensity for enforcing rule and thought upon others, while also encouraging us to find joy in everyday life and to embrace our place of coexistence in the natural world.

The Metropolis is located at 55 Eliott St. in Brattleboro. The performance begins at 10pm and admission is FREE.
