Oakleaf

$10.00

Ben's third solo release, Oakleaf, was recorded in a large performance theatre and stays true to the natural acoustic sounds of the instruments in the hall. The result is an extremely warm sounding album with natural reverb and no overdubs or effects processing. Oakleaf takes you on a journey through 'ukulele duets with the acoustic guitar, double bass, and mohan veena; full band arrangements that swing bluegrass and funky odd meters; and a drum ensemble centered around the doumbek.

Release date: August 6, 2011
