Kickstarter Campaign has begun!
Today marks the launch of my first Kickstarter campaign! The goal of this campaign is to raise $5,000 in the next 30 days to help with the completion, replication, and distribution of my fifth studio album.
You can view the entire project here: Kickstarter Campaign
(And if you’d like to make a pledge, you can do so at the same place!)
For those who don’t know about Kickstarter, they are an ‘All or nothing’ organization. Which means that if the $5,000 goal is not reached then there is no distribution of money. Also, any financial backer to the project will not be charged unless this goal is reached.

I guess I should tell you a little bit about this album…. which is going to be a solo ‘ukulele EP entitled “A River’s View of Sunrise,” and includes five original compositions, a J.S. Bach composition, and an arrangement from an 1850’s method book for Machete (which is an ancestor to the ‘ukulele). The songs have a classical feel to them with hints of swing, rock, and folk. Add in some beatboxing, percussive strumming, harmonic fingerpicking, and a double entendre ode to the maple sugar industry; and what you have a unique Ben Carr Music experience!

to view the project and make your pledge! I am offering many rewards for your support including free downloads, signed copies of the album, limited edition artwork, stickers, and personalized thank you videos/song performances! You’ll find them all listed on the right side of the project page.
Thanks for your support! And if you are not in a position to make a pledge, please spread the word and let others know about my campaign!
